Stampin' Up Bottled with Happiness and Sending a Message

Bottle with Happiness
This card makes me think of the Nicholas Sparks "Message in a Bottle" movie. I love all of his stories and this card made me just as happy.

CARD RECIPE
  1. Cut an 8-1/2 x 11" sheet of Pear Pizazz in half and score at 4-1/4"

  2. Cut layer 1 out of Pear Pizazz at 4 x 5-1/4"
    Cut layer 2 out of Petal Pink at 2-3/4" x 3-1/2"
    Cut DSP layer out of Sun Print at 2-1/2 x 3-1/4"

  3. Emboss layer 1 with white embossing powder and adhere to card base.

  4. Punch bottle image out of DSP layer. Remove the top adhesive covering and attach it under the DSP layer.

  5. Take a small scrap of Crumb Cake card stock and break up the fibers to make it soft and pliable with a bone folder. Roll into a tight cylinder and glue closed. Tie a piece of linen thread around it.

  6. Insert rolled message in bottle dome and adhere layers together.

  7. Stamp the sentiment with Momento ink and punch out. Adhere with dimensionals.

  8. Adhere embellishments

  9. Stamp a Basic White 4 x 5-1/4" layer with an image and adhere to the inside of the card base.
